SAN FRANCISCO BANS BOTTLED WATER
Newsom has issued an executive order banning city departments from buying bottled water, even for water coolers. The ban goes into effect July 1, and will extend to water coolers by December 1.

I'm just curious if I'm the only one that buys bottled water from the vending machine when I'm thirsty, but would be more than happy to buy a dew if the water is out? and of course since diet pepsi is prefered 52% to 48% over diet coke in a national taste test, well, you can probably guess the rest:p
Rock on lawmakers + global warming enthusiasts!!:thumb: let freedom ring! (and intellect)

So I'm assuming you prefer a billion empty water bottles in a landfill, and next year another billion and next year another billion and another and another...:tsktsk:

Wait, you mean to tell me that you actually have to pay for things from the vending machine, and you don't just have a stocked fridge you can walk over to and grab anything you want?

For the record, I go through about 6 bottles of water, 3 cans of diet ginger-ale and a V-8 every day.
Maybe bring a Gatorade to the gym if I work out on my lunch break.

YOU BASTARD WHY DON'T YOU JUST POST A PICTURE OF YOUR OFFICE FRIDGE SO YOU CAN REALLY RUB IT IN

I'm cool with this. It's really not difficult to carry a water bottle with you.
You could argue that a coke bottle makes just as much waste (it does), but then again, you can't get coke from your tap.

The only lack of intellect that's ringing is in people paying a dollar per bottle of water.
This is almost like outlawing the lottery, come to think of it.

I don't know what the tap water is like where you live, but I can easily tell the difference between a bottle of spring water (NOT Aquafina or Dasani) and a glass from the kitchen sink. Paying three or four dollars for a set of 24 bottles doesn't bother me a bit.

That's why they have water filters. It's cheaper AND more environmentally friendly!
