I'm super happy Wolf 3 will be made because despite it's issues I still really enjoyed The New Colossus. Glad to hear it didn't sell quite as bad as people assumed it did, even if it still wasn't what Bethesda hoped.

Whilst I've only played a bit of new order (as the game kept corrupting itself, and I gave up and uninstalled in the end). Wolf 3D and Spear of Destiny are still my personal favorites of the series. They have a unique style that I've never experienced in anything else.

I'm curious, do you mind talking a little bit more about that?

Ask away if there's anything specific you'd like my perspective on with those games. Though what I was meaning is that they are very raw actionfests. Especially when using the minigun. You just enter a room and just mow down EVERYONE. The sound of the minigun just adds to it. To me its just so visceral. Gives you that big rush. Sure there is some tactics you need to use if its a large room or if its structured with lots of ambush points, but for the majority of the time its about you mowing down nazi scum, and I love the games for it.
It has a bit of an arcade vibe as well, with the scores and lives. Unlike Doom and later FPS games, it certainly has that "arcade feel". Though its not arcade difficulty (besides the later episodes). All these things combine together for a feel thats very unique, that I've never had elsewhere with FPS games.
Plus the whole "Lets see that again" moment with Hitler. That is so iconic. I've not seen that done in any other game.

Episode 6 of the original game was ridiculously hard at times imo. Crazy level design. I've heard Spear is harder but haven't tried it.
