I stopped by the freedom base this morning. Since I was already had a boar leg, I decided to check with Lukash to see if he wanted it. (yes, by the way.) I happened to notice a PMm on the floor behind him. ( ?? ) I picked it up and took it to the "bodybag" I had placed next to Skinflint. To my astonishment Skinflint had decided to drop all his weapons on the floor. This consisted of the following items:
(4) GP37
(4) SGI 5K
(1) SVUmk2
(4) TRs 301
(7) TRs 301 , not 100% condition. ( prob. ones I sold to him.)
(1) VLA, not 100%
(4) UDP Compact
(4) P9m
There are more rattling around on the floor but not visible. All in all, quite a haul. (I apologize for rhyming, I promise: "There'll be no singing while I'm here.") I am now on my way over to the Bar to see if Petrenko has gone similarly insane.
Further updates as they occur, Film at eleven.
I'm guessing I overloaded him with junk, And he decided to "Lighten the load". Maybe this is exploitable ?

bodybag, as in some corpse you dragged in there? How...sanitary (My key binds never really let me work with that pick up corpse thing. I'll have to try it again).
It often frustrated me that Skinflint isn't a real trader and will run out of money. But that's actually an interesting feature really. I bought a big sniper rifle off him and thought (I'm getting every cent of that back) a proceeded to flood his market with dozens of tr37s scavenged from the mercs.

I always buy an Exoskeleton from him, then sell him enough stuff to get all my money back.

Haha same. And in my case due to the repair mod (10% damage on the Exosuit is about 30k rubel iirc) and the hugely increased carrying capacity it even got more "pick up absolutely anything and sell it to Skinflint" obsessive. Altho he never started to "leak" in any of my games :laff:

...who is this Skinflint dude?
Oh, and I never buy armor. The moment you can buy better armor, you usually find one lying somewhere...

Skinflint is the Freedom trader.
And the only place where you'll find an Exoskeleton is inside the NPP, unless you're lucky enough to spend enough time in Yantar and find the information about Fang's stash in Pripyat.
I also try to repair all my stuff with Skinflint, so that he always has some money with him. That way I can stell stuff to him and save myself the trouble of carrying it to the Bar.

Oh. I killed him and the enire camp with Duty.
I don't think Exo is all that good anyway. It has great protection against attacks, but other types(especially radiation) are kinda lacking.

No sprint neither. Really gets on my nerves after a short while
D'Arcy on 16/1/2008 at 01:26
Exo + (four 5% bulletproof cap artifacts) = 80% protection against bullets. There's nothing closer to being a panzer. After a while you already know where the radiation hotspots are, so the fact that it lacks environmental protection doesn't bother me that much. And who needs sprinting anyway? Once I get an Exo it's the other stalkers that should be running. Away from me ;)
