Anyone done this before? Easy enough to set up? Any tips before I get started?
I've had it with my DivX player for downloaded TV shows. It's constantly shitting itself, skipping, random shutdowns, locks and so on. I could hook the PC directly to the TV but cabling would be an issue so given that my PS3 is already there with wireless capability and hooked into plasma/sound already, why not just go that route?
At the moment I'm fairly low-tech on the webside, ADSL modem ethernet cabled into the PC and nothing for the PS3 at present, I only just updated its firmware for my Star Trek bluray to work.
I'm thinking I just need a wireless G router for the internet connection and I don't even need to bother wireless networking the PC for now as it's right next to the phone line, until such times as I need to move the PC anyway.
Any solid recommendations on a wireless G router?

I've got a D-Link DIR-615 (Wireless N), and it's been amazingly good. The QoS on it keeps videos playing when there's a bunch of other traffic. It was also really really cheap, I think I picked it up for around $45.

I take it the router is Wireless N and G? I heard Wireless N doesn't work with PS3?

I believe you can set it to work in wireless G-only mode, but I haven't had trouble with wireless G devices connecting to it in wireless N mode.

Most Wireless N routers will also have a G system as a legacy backup, Scots.
