Anyone with any experience setting up Steam through wine for Debian 7 64bit that can help me out?
It was no problem in Kubuntu 12.04 64bit, but now it complains about a fatal error: Could not load module 'bin/vgui2_s.dll'.

can't help with setting up steam, but if you only want to play Thief, just copy a TFix patched install of Thief from a windows machine to the linux machine, make sure "emulate a virtual desktop" is enabled in wine (this will prevent serious issues when changing the resolution), and you should be good to go.

Idk man, if you have a drinking problem, prolly AA. As for the steam, you may want to lessen the frequency you masturbate cause your crotch region is what is causing all that steam. And if you have a problem with a thief I would probably call the police.
