I installed Win7 over the weekend (now triple booting that, Vista and XP for some masochistic reason) and the thing I was most shocked about is that Internet Explorer is actually decent now. Bloody hell, when did that happen?

Apparently, around the same time your brain damage kicked in.

Also: ZylonBane's dad could beat up Matthew's dad.

Vista and 7? That's alot of HDD space to devote to redundancy. I mean could understand dual booting Vista and 7 during the beta, when people weren't exactly sure all their stuff would work, or the thing would run without wiping out their MP3 collections. But now? You've got two OSes installed that do the exact same thing. Unless you're just horrified at the thought of jumping on 7 right at launch without some contingency plan, you ain't got no damn reason to keep both.
Also why is ZB so mean all the time? :(

I love you too, cutie.
Renz: the tripleboot is just until I get all the crap uninstalled from Vista and installed under Win 7, then I'll take Vista off.

So, I came across (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2u-2QAI888) this, which introduces Microsoft's new operating system (that's the software on which the computer runs, by the way, in case you didn't know, just so you now know, don't thank me for letting you know).
I very much dislike your description of an operating system.

Of course you probably won't see any other serious OSes competing with windazzled because MS tried too hard to kill other competitors, big time.
Love it, hate it, it would be much better for everyone having some healthy competition that made MS run for their easily earned money, no competitors remember?
Um, there's this company called Apple? Most of the school's computers are Macs, as are most of the students. Microsoft still dominates numerically, thanks largely to businesses, but Macs have a healthy consumer market-share, particularly with the youth, which is arguably the most valuable market for future success.
Mind you, Apple is a far more "evil" corporation that Microsoft, but it is competition.

What, you think it's too simplistic, childish, and pretentious?
Me, too.
