Windows 7 and thief 2?

Hi all. I've recently got myself a new lap top and I'm kinda having problems running thief 2 properly. Thief does load OK but (even with the 1.8 patch) the game is running in a small window. I've tried all different permitations but I've not been able to get round this one. Also, the graphics themselves ie. the textures... are not that clever (the clouds are'nt transparent). Windows 7 will let me run in 16 bit resolution but this does'nt solve this problem. Is there a way tho to get thief2 running in full screen mode??????:p

You should probably retitle your thread "My new laptop and Thief 2" because it usually runs full screen in Windows 7. Afaik it's the first time your problem has come up - guess that's why no one has responded.

Try a fresh install using Tafferpatcher - follow the link and instructions in(http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132995&p=2009188&viewfull=1#post2009188) this post (b).
