Naw, tBM. Two things: one, like Koki said there's no connection between W7 and the browsers - they're not tied down to each other. Two, barring a highly generalised opening statement, you haven't said what exactly it is that's making you gripe so, and that doesn't exactly engender discussion.
Hence, this is going to be either a) a very short thread or b) a thread with one-liners, images, and general goofing off.
Also, this thread is in CommChat.
Expect chakats.
Soon.

I'll make it simple. I dislike W7. All by its lonesome. I made no comment about browsers working with it.
I also dislike the new browsers and the "improvements" they offer.
So, in very simple terms so all you genius' can understand.
I don't think that the format of W7 is an improvement. Stability wise, yes. Functionality and ease of use no.
I don't think the expanded improved browsers are that. They are cumbersome, have poor default choices, are hard to tailor to a personal preferrence, and in general are a pain in the ass.

Ah, condescension. Works so much better when you have a point.

I recently accused SubJeff of trying to become the "Poor Man's Dethtoll", but it looks like he's got competition for that title.
What was funny about that episode is I was actually going for a more highbrow Koki (so very lowbrow compared to dethtoll) and you didn't see it. dethtoll did though (natch) so I think the whole thing says more about you than either of us Eva. :p
tBM - I don't agree with you, but I get you. Sometimes I open a new version of a program and think "Ffs, what
were you thinking with this new UI?". Took me about 3 months to get used to the "ribbon" in Office 2007. Love it now though (although why must it switch out of some of the tabs when I'm still working on something? ).

They all suck! The so-called "improvements" are more of an inconvenience.

http://www.zen80200.zen.co.uk/cc.pngTakes time to get used to change, and with more experience than most of us, you should know that, neh?
Get yourself the IE9 platform preview, or even Chrome 5 and check out some of the upcoming HTML5 improvements (
http://ie.microsoft.com/testdrive/) firsthand.
Much as I loved Netscape Navigator 2.02, it's just not cutting the mustard anymore.

Aero Glass really does look atrocious though. It's like the UI was designed by someone who'd just discovered Photoshop. Glowing text and gratuitous transparency and gradients, oh my! Ugh. You don't see crap like that on actual professionally-designed layouts.
Koki on 17/7/2010 at 17:22
So (s)he's self-conscious enough to cover her breasts, but she'll walk around with her asshole/pussy/penis hanging out in the open?
Stupid furfags.
Sulphur on 17/7/2010 at 17:27
I'm not about to defend that, or anything else about that, but if you decide to have your penis/pussy/asshole out in the open I wouldn't have a problem with that at all. Unless you had the clap or syphilis or AIDS or something. It's kinda like the time you first discover someone walking around a nudist beach wearing a scarf and nothing else.
Deal with it, I guess. Or don't. Which nudist beaches do you haunt?

It's an opinion. Nothing more. My reasons are just that, my reasons. For me the "improvements" are a step backward that introduce more complications instead of simplification.
Details are not important, and to provide
EvaUnit02 with the tools for mental masturbation is not my job.
And this includes W7 FFOX, and IE8+
It kinda is your job. When posting a thread about an opinion it's somewhat expected that you actually do kind of give reasons to support your opinion. Otherwise you're just a twat.
I'd say to give Chrome a try (since it's heavenly under Win7), but I feel like you're probably complaining for the sake of complaining and won't like that either.
