Ok, we used to pride ourselves over the fact that our backend was 100% opensource, but that is no more. We've moved on to ESXi which, while running on Linux, requires a Windows client to be administrated. I installed a small box at our rack that will act as our portal for these things, I wanted something sturdy that would run as fast as possible. I put Win2k3 on it and still can't get over how fast and neat everything is. Looks like Windows2000, which was always my favorite.
Anywho, can you guys give me any good reason why I would want to install Win2008 for this? 2k3 seems more than adequate and I'm really liking it so far.
