I don't dislike them, I just find their behaviour odd. And I don't know what you mean by "this direction".
Anyway, back on topic - I also ordered the game through GMG and Steam Brethren. Did you ever get any update on when we're going to get it - 25th or 28th? I'm really hoping for 25th because I'm away the weekend of the 27th!
GMC also sent me an email with a 25% off code. This was the first time I've used them (to pre-order Thief). Does anyone know the rules with these codes? Can I post it here for others to use?

By "this direction" I mean criticizing someone's personal background because they don't like the way they argue or discuss things. About a video game.
I believe you get your Steam key emailed to you on release day, and that depends on where you live. For North America, it's the 25th. I think for Europe it's the 28th. Not sure on the 25% off code. Is it for Thief, or any game?

I only want Thief from that list but I've already pre-ordered it. I guess I'm going to playing it next month :(

We have a boxed version of the game here in Poland, too. I've even found a shop with a nice steelbook as a bonus for preordering Thief;-)

Okay, you big dead horse, Im gonna kick you one last time! My personal life is separate from my TTLG message board life. I know, its so untrendy to not want to be everyones hero on a message forum. For the one millionth+ time, I come here to froth and drool over one of my favorite video games ever. Along the way, I *do* enjoy dispensing knowledge on the history of crpg, especially since one of my favorite games ever (Thief) is inextricably linked to the classics. My outside friends who also come here know what I do for a living, and as soon as I click off TTLG, the cape comes off and goes back in the trunk. Im a complete looney, someone stop me.

It means that you dont know a thing about me, because you are obviously not my friend! Yet, you conjure up some beautiful theory that makes no actual sense in terms of the people you are doing it to, rather than just, taking the time, to find out who the person might actually be. I assure you, those who know me accept me as being quite sane. :)
