Was kind of wondering today, since I pre-ordered the game through Green Man, which is a U.K. outfit, and they've said I won't get my Steam key until release day - will I not get it until European release on the 28th (as opposed to the U.S. release on the 25th)? Anyone have any experience with this?
3 extra days is no big deal - I've waited 5 years already. But I might have the avoid the forums for the majority of the week at least.

I went through the same process and, when I received an order confirmation through Green Man, found that it should be the 25th.

No preorder for me. No way. I will wait a month or two to see what people think of the game. Then I will decide if I want to play it.

I preordered today the boxed version for PC.
Even if the game would turn out to be 'not so good', I could impossibly resist.
Would buy it anyway!
Oh, well. In my entire life this will be maybe the second game that I buy 'fresh' when it comes out.
All the other ones I got from the local brick & mortar stores, where I buy them no sooner then when their prices have gone down from ~50 buck to 10 or less.
But this time this is an entirely different game, you know?

Yep, this time the jackals are unabashadly on standby, waiting to reap every last dollar they can from the fans, both new and old, of a once great series before it goes kaput.

A question for the ages.

The way these guys try so hard makes me think they didn't graduate from highschool.
Which is fine as I don't think a formal education is absolutely necessary to be a decent person and a productive member of society.
But I have met people who never went to school and instead of just being the best person they can be, have developed chips on their shoulders about it and tried to be condescending in other ways. One of my close friends dropped out of uni and became unbearable in his hatred of uni students and graduates. It didn't matter to him at almost all his close friends were the objects of his denigration.

So there is one?
Damn it. I would have wanted one just to sit with the others. Bah. Too late now. I'll see how worthy it is and maybe get a boxed copy in a few months when the price drops.

The sheer amount of projection is almost tangible.

Do we really need to take things in this direction? This is a Thief forum. If you don't like someone, put them on ignore.
