Are you being sarcastic or is this a patented Strontium Dog™ post.
No, I was being deadly serious, although in my haste to get to work this morning I didn't have enough time to expand upon the point.
But the list of child murderers who, having been caught, have gone on to commit crimes as an adult is pretty short... well, it doesn't exist. I'm sure you now have first-hand evidence of just how quickly children learn, and those two boys have spent most of their lives having the error of their ways drummed into them. The chances of them reoffending are so close to zero as to be insignificant, which is why one can reasonably discard this wacko theory in seconds.

That's an interesting stat, I'd never heard of that before. Although it's prudent to point out that they weren't just child murderers, but one was serially abused and seriously disturbed while the other would no doubt have been on the receiving end of much verbal abuse (due to his mentally disabled sisters) throughout their adult life amid the fracas of a broken home.
And yes, Turtle. Fuck me. I don't like to remember either. Especially when I re-read the wiki entry on it. :(

Here's one example: (

He was older than those two, but still an adolescent.

A young man a few weeks shy of his 16th birthday is somewhat different to pre-pubescent 10-year-olds, don't you think. He might well have been a minor, but I can't honestly see how you could argue with a straight face that he was a child, unless (of course) you were trolling an Internet forum!

Oh dear god that is not even close to trolling.

"To troll", in its simplest form, is to make comments that are designed to induce an angry response. I think disagreeing with someone who is clearly correct for the sake of being a smart-arse comes within those parameters, but I'm willing to yield to your bigger stick.

I didn't think you were trolling before, but I think think it would be good policy to assume that is not the case in most cases, no matter how obviously correct your position seems to you.
