Recently there was a rather (

The article does not contain any information that was borne on a chain e-mail that is apparently doing the rounds in many Australian businesses (not mine, this is purely second-hand, third-party information) at the moment, which states that the man charged is actually a recent emigrant from the UK, who is still living with his parents and had been released from a UK prison for a crime that cannot be disclosed due to legal reasons.
Someone has put 2 and 2 together and come up with infinity, because this chain mail purports that the murderer is none other than one of the infamous Jamie Bulger killers, Venables and Thompson. There are some immediate and obvious flaws in this, the first being that the age of 21 given in the article wouldn't be accurate, as both would now be 23 year-old men, but even the implication gives chills especially since our government went to great lengths to ensure their identity remained a secret. Would that go as far as to shipping them across the world? Potentially. This also reminded me that our government spent $4m resituating those fucks.
Anyway, how the hell do people come up with this sort of stuff?

Well, it's not going to be Thompson or Venables, because they've been rehabilitated.
But the answer to your question is: some people have nothing better than to sit around all day inventing rumors on the Internets. And some people have nothing better to do than to believe them.

Quite a disturbing murder, I live in Perth and my daughter is 8 years old. The man charged is known to the courts here in perth, apparently.
