that one annoyed me too. I ended up just training it to the guards outside of whatever big city was nearby. worked like a charm :thumb:

They steal your health when they touch you so you need to run back and shoot them with magic/bow (much easier with long distance detect life) or if you don't have bow or magic, get your silver/daedric/enchanted weapon and bash them, run away, bash them, run away and so on, taking advantage of the fact you have longer weapon reach and it takes them about a second to cast. When you are stronger you can just bash them to death.

If I'm a long distance away I can take one down with two arrows + enchanted bow, 3X stealth damage. If they're too close then taking them out with arrows can be tricky so I use a fireball staff (40 pts fire damage) and 4 or 5 hits with that will kill them. It's a little easier than trying to aim your bow when they're rushing you. I always carry a fire staff for Will-o-Wisps, Frost and Storm Atronachs (Frost Atronachs regenerate health faster than I can kill them with bow and arrow).

I gobble them up before they even realize what's happening. Very tasty. (Btw, picking up their bodies after they die is pretty cool, especially on a sloped and bumpy surface).
