I think the whole "Jimmy Wales is a pornographer" myth was debunked quite a while ago.

He had a hand in developing a porn search engine. Which makes him...a porn search engine developer, I guess. A pornographer is someone who like, films the porn.

Your definition is very narrow. A pornographer can be someone who sells and/or distributes pornography. Jimmy Wales has done both of those things.

So he, at least, disputes your story.

That said, even if he was Larry Flynt, it's kind of irrelevant - he's not making anyone search for anything and I fail to see how this would have a serious effect on Wikipedia's search patterns.
