Nothing wrong here, it's an encyclopedia and there's stuff for kids in there too. This entry doesn't exactly appeal to adults though.

I'd be appalled by this, except I spent about an hour this afternoon reading about The Horus Heresy from the Warhammer 40k universe (amongst other horribly geeky things) :(
I blame internet.
Chimpy Chompy on 28/7/2006 at 15:15
Yeah, just about every popular fictional universe has fans keen to splurge articles about it all over wiki.
And yes, I've spent hours reading up on 40k stuff too.

I add my name to this roll of 40K shame.

Also guilty of wasting hours reading about Warhammer. It's amusing that wikipedia has so much more information than the official site.
<small>Paz, give the article on <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cypher_%28Warhammer_40%2C000%29">Cypher</a> a read. He's cool.</small>

I'm all for taking Pokemon seriously as an incredible phenomenon, but for the love of god, there are things that require more attention that a blow-by-blow account of NARUTO season four.
It's not as if time & effort is actually being diverted from the other, "more important" articles. I'd much rather a 13 year old Pokemon geek write a wikipedia article on Bulbasaur than Newtonian Mechanics ;) Similarly, I doubt an expert on Newtonian Mechanics is spending his time writing articles on Bulbasaur.
Paz on 28/7/2006 at 19:10
I suspect the guy who wrote that Bulbasaur article will not be under 35.
STONE, THAT IS!
Ahhh ... but anyway, there's no way a 13 year old wrote it. I mean, that's pretty obvious from a quick read-through, right?

Yesterday I nearly bought the Shadowrun rulebook. I would never play that game with anyone. And the price. No way in fucking hell I'm coughing 50$ for a rulebook, even if it's hard cover.
Chimpy Chompy on 29/7/2006 at 10:15
I'm not sure exactly how that relates to my point. Unless someone's been dilligently writing up separate articles for hammers, craymen, history of the city, amusing quotes by Garrett etc.
