(
http://www.popmatters.com/features/060726-wikipedia.shtml) Article on Defacing Wikipedia
And isn't the featured article chosen automatically? And whats with all the Wikihate lately? NOID, I remember when you said Wiki brought back the joy of surfing the internet for you some time back and everyone was like "Wikipedia, hell yes!" and now everyone is like "Boo!" and I'm like "WHAT!" and the Spiderman movie was like "if theres one thing people love more than a hero its to see a hero fall" and i think you should all GO to your rooms and THINK about what you've done. :nono:

Well I contribute to Wikipedia on a frequent basis, in fact the page on Pan sonic is my creation and I contribute readily to the audio synthesis pages especially additive synthesis but the point is that as much as I love this wonderful beast, in general, it is full of self-diagnosed mummies boys who think that Pokemon is the fucking paragon of human knowledge; that instead of contributing to something that isn't frittering popular culture they apply what little knowledge they have to fucking imaginary avatars of the elements that comprise the body of a fucking computer game.
I'm all for taking Pokemon seriously as an incredible phenomenon, but for the love of god, there are things that require more attention that a blow-by-blow account of NARUTO season four.

After following a few links, it appears that Wikipedia's article on Bulbasaur is even more comprehensive than that of the Pokemon-specific wiki the article links to. That's... nice, I guess? There's even a link to a statistical analysis of Bulbasaur, which I feel compelled to mention because I'll never get another chance to use the phrase "statistical analysis of Bulbasaur".

henke, I think that defacing anything Pokemon-related gets carte blanche in my book.

Yeah, this is the 2nd featured article on a Pokemon character in as many weeks I'm sure.
There are many more interesting things that only have stubs posted, but I guess if folks like Pokemon then you can't force them to write about something else...
