Other things I want to know:
From what I've read, it would appear adventure scripting is stronger. Eg. You can actually get recognition for completing some.
Other thing: Landing at airports and staying there. I've been going on a little sightseeing/airport hopping adventure around San Francisco. Now of course the game is supposed to know you've landed at an airport and when you quit, you are at that airports FBO.
So anyway, I took off from SFO in the pouring rain in my Baron, flew around for an hour, then landed at Santa Rosa in the north. After quitting, I was at the Santa Rosa FBO. Fair enough. Next day, I did a morning flight in a Beaver from Santa Rosa, and eventually put down in Lake Berryessa. Quit, and there I am at Lake Berryessa FBO.
Next day, I took off in thick fog from the lake (that was an experience in itself!), and landed at Blake Sky Park, stopping the plane next to the little building at the airstrip. I quit, and I was back at Lake B FBO! Today, I took a similar flight. I supposed the reason that it still said I was at Lake B was because I had pulled off the taxiway onto bare ground. Anyway, this time I quit on the taxiway, and I was still at Lake B! Frustrated, I just switched to Blake.
So what I'm asking is, does it only work with some airports?

My in-depth knowledge of the sim is not that great, I'm afraid. You would really be best to ask these sorts of questions at the <a href="http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=select_classic_mode&forum=130&topic_id=&mesg_id=&p_az=show_topics&page=">avsim forum</a>.
The adventure system was revamped (and renamed to "challenges" rather than "adventures") for FU3, but I couldn't give you any details on what has changed. Neither the manual nor the document on challenge scripting (which is on the first CD) gives any kind of history of the system.
