Haven't managed to get a Wii yet, but for me the natural choice for a SS1 resurrection would be the DS interface. It just makes sense.
(oblig. imho and all that)

I finally managed to buy a Wii yesterday and bought Red Steel among others, and after a few hours playing that, it's true that I haven't played that way since System Shock. It's very refreshing :D (though I've yet to get used to pointing correctly at my targets...) Another game I picked was a flight sim, Heatseeker, and there again, I can totally imagine the motion-sensing flight controls transposed to Cyberspace.
Ah well... *sigh*
