Have sigs been blocked on this forum or something?

We have a limit for signatures of <a href="http://www.ttlg.com/forums/regs.htm#info">150 characters or 3 lines</a>. Yours is 252 characters in length.

Ok. Is it ok to have links in your sig?

Yes. If you look at the signature section of your <a href="http://www.ttlg.com/forums/member.php?s=&action=editprofile">Profile Options</a> it shows that the HTML code, image code and smilies are not allowed but (

Here's a somewhat related question--
Why does the board always clear the "Show Signature" box when editing or previewing a message? Shouldn't it remember its last state?
Child of Karras on 19/11/2003 at 19:12
Well I suppose signatures don't need to be repeated twice...
ignatios on 19/11/2003 at 19:22
AFAIK, that's there to make sure that people don't spam threads with their sigs ... one should be enough.
ZylonBane on 19/11/2003 at 19:34
And it's there to retroactively remove the sig from a message that you're editing?
ignatios on 19/11/2003 at 20:45
Yeah, that part's definitely annoying.

I'd also like to ask why my signature was removed again. According to the guidelines, it's 150 characters or 3 lines (it doesn't specify "which ever comes first"), hence, I wasn't in breach of them as far as I could tell. I sent a PM to GBM a few weeks ago telling him David (I think it was) told me my sig was alright as is at 3 lines, but haven't gotten any response, and when I finally decided to have another go at it, found my profile was locked yet again. What gives? Again, I have no intention of instigating or causing trouble -- I am well aware I could be blocked for doing so -- I am just trying to understand, especially after receiving that (what I felt to be) hot-headed PM from GBM, after the fact that I was told it was fine. So, as I suggested to GBM in my PM, I think the moderators should either agree on one thing or another, lest things like this don't happen in the future.
deadman, the sig-less :cheeky:
