Why do we keep getting questions that are clearly answered in the instruction manual?
Im thinking:
1) These people have illegal copies of the games
2) Their dog ate the instructions
or
3) They are just plain dumb
If you too find this perculiar, then reply with your thoughts. If your one of the people asking questions that are in the manual, maybe you could explain why you havent read yours:devil:

*chuckle* Well, speaking as one who's slightly dyslexic (ever wonder why my posts often change 2-3 times? I'm proofreading and correcting), the manual is rather compact and its verbiage takes sitting down and pondering WTF they mean. Then again, my time isn't worth 100$ an hour; I'm sure the majority of those asking questions that can be solved from the manual are simply too busy to bother, right? (yes, that was sarcasm... :p)

Well i'm slightly dyslexic and i didn't have any problems reading the manual...
I think the answer to your question is the same as why people don't use the search button - they just can't be bothered.
Why read the manual when you can ask your question on this forum and get the exact answer?
On the other hand there are some people on here with such poor understanding of English language that i do wonder to my self how they ever manage to read the manual nevermind the in-game dialogue... :erg:

I do agree that the manual doesnt explain things in extreme detail like some people need, but most answers to peoples questions can be solved through the slightest bit of experiance with the game. I just get a little annoyed thats all. When people let their brain get lazy then its all downhill from there. I walk through the mall and see the next generation of morons going about their stupid lives, the girls walking around looking like cheap hookers and the guys thinking they are gangsta's. I just dont wanna see the world go to shit in my lifetime. Maybe it already has.

The above post floored me! It couldn't be more true than if it were quoted directly from whatever tome/news source ETC.ETC. you view as the most truthful! Ok, I've seen poorer manuals, I've played games that had more bugs. The game was/is quite groundbreaking in it's scope. It is THE biggest game I have played, for sheer size of playing field, and # of NPC's in the game.
Now back to what was said. I have come to the conclusion that stupid starts hitting me square in the face the instant I open the door to my house and step outside. Idiots that you can hear a full five minutes before you see them with these insane stereo systems. Don't these fools realize that the human ear loses the capacity to hear due to high decibel levels? Five years from now they WILL be deaf! No questions asked, it IS a certainty. If you doubt it, research Pete Townsend's hearing. What makes them think I want to hear what they are listening to? I can assure you I don't, especially if it's cRAP! Or Eminem! Oh wow what a great lyricist we have there! Plook your dad, spork your mom, I hate you all! Gee he sure adores all of his fans! I can't fathom why anyone would buy a record from sush a loser who actually ridicules you as the listener in the songs! And what does the music industry do? Award this type of behavior!
Ok, back on subject, I just assume that the majority of these types of posts are from the yet to be educated, pre-adolescent types that the game designers were aiming for in the first place. We must realize that even the 9 year old gum chewing, laugh at fart jokes types can now assault us with electronic media. Search key? Not one on my keyboard! It's much easier to ask for the answers than find them yourself. Look at the spelling, lack of grammer and general lack of education/intelligence all together and in deed it is quite scary!

I can assure you that this isn't something that only happens in the states... maybe not to the same magnatude but it's getting there. If it isn't the multitude of 'young hopefuls' shirking all education in the vain hope of 'making it big' by appearing in 'big brother' or 'pop stars' its the 'ghetto gangsta's' striding around their delapadated surrounding shooting each other with dangerously converted air pistols and laughing at anyone who shows any interest in bettering them selves. It's started in the cities (mainly London) and it's spreading i mean i saw two scruffy young 'skaters' in my village yesterday! God knows what sort of people I'll encounter at the inner-city university i'm going to...

ok i think this thread is goin slightly off topic...
but i gotta agree with alot that's been said...
kids seem to think their tougher or like that image.. (emphasise think.. i've had to call out a few to teach em differently)
and girls skirts get shorter earlier and makeup gets bought earlier...
now i gotta state a few things about myself...
i am 25 and i am into hiphop.. i even like an eminem song or two... he has some interesting stuff from a lyricists point of view.. and i most of the music i listen to has that as it's basis clever lyrics.. good metaphors and similies... good delivery over good beats... and if there is a msg that's good too... anyone remember public enemy, late 80's - early 90's ice cube (not the crap he's been pushin since about 94) or ppl lately like goodie mob, jeru, mos def, gang starr... i could go on...
and i used to have once of those big systems... money reasons didn't let me keep it

which i actually cranked them 15"s up 141.6dB in competition (without me in it)
but was mainly for show and at lower volumes it made for excellent audio quality...
although yes i gotta admit sometimes when i was in a hype mood that i made the ppls windows next to me rattle... although my next system won't be bigger than a 12" ok .. maybe 1 15"... :cheeky:
i don't even know where this post is going... it just shits me that the things i am into are so misrepresented by idiots... i mean no one said it directly but we all know where 'ghetto gangstas' remark was directed...
and we could have a lengthy discussion on what music genre is the 'good one' and not get anywhere because at the end of the day it's opinion... no??
btw this post is in no way defending wannabe gangstas (who i can't stand with an almost hatred.. cos for this specific reason.. misrepresentation) and other idiotic behaviour.. just don't lump everyone who is into what sounds like rap/hiphop together...

Well I made NO comments concerning music genres i'm not interested in music much to be honest but i know that obviously there are big links between hip hop / RnB and 'ghetto gangsta's'. I'm sorry if my over generalisation has offended you there are always exceptions to the rule its just i haven't met one yet in the case of the 'ghetto gangsta's'.
Please don't call me an idiot by the way my points are justified even if it some what over generalised.
I have no issues with people who like rap and hiphop - it's just a taste in music - i do have issues with certain 'ghetto gangstas' (and any other group of people) who feel the need to create deadly weapons to shoot people with, keep people up at night by playing music so loud, and many other anti-social activities including street violence, and crime.

Man! You guys are just a little territorial about this forum don't you think? When I found this forum I was really psyched that I found a source for info about the game but I quickly saw that the only people really welcome are the ones that don't need the info anyway. I gotta tell you guys, (and after checking in for a few weeks I can see that it is very clear that many of you need to read this) you probably see questions about things that you think are simple because the people asking them have lives outside of Morrowind. You know things like jobs, school, sports, interaction with females (note: stalking them at malls doesn't count), etc.
Lighten up! (ok now you can let your nerd-beserk-internet power loose and trash me)
