I just bought Morrowing today.
I have a NVIDIA TNT2 video card and I well exceed all system reqs. But when I click on the hatch to get out of the ship, the game locks up completely and my computer will not respond to anything short of cutting the power.
I've tried everything in the tech support manual and I am getting seriously frustrated before I've even had to chance to even play the darn game.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I appreciate any help you can give me here.

You can try playing with the game options by reducing some of the effects in the game. Also, it states somewhere, the game will crash less if you turn off virus scan when you play. I applied the patch hoping the game would crash less often but the darn thing seems to crash more with the patch than it did before. :erg:
