$80 isn't all that bad if you got the money and you make good income, the hole created by that spendage will be gone.
Maybe, but that is for the floppy disk version, not the CD one which is what I'm looking for.:(
It does seem to me that is easier to get a copy in UK/Australia/Europe. Probably because PC games are more popular there to begin with.

PC games aren't all that popular in Iceland.
I hope you'll find SS1 CD version for little, it's a fantastic game.

I got the mac version of SS1 still in the shrinkwrap on eBay for $15 two years ago. Of course, I tore it open and installed the heck out of it, which might not have been the right decision, now that I look back on it...

I'd just like to point out that the information in the FAQ is wrong. You cannot purchase SS2 for $16 AUS. The price is $9.95 + $36 AUS for international shipping. This is the price Games Warehouse gave me in an email.
I'm completely unable to find a new copy anywhere in the UK, and second hand copies are costing more than brand new releases on eBay. Which I guess is appropriate, since SS2 is a hell of a lot better than a lot of new releases :p
I'd stil like to pick it up a bit cheaper tho.

Either this is the new TTLG "feature" where one can't PM newbies anymore or you turned them off. Well you try meet me then. (Take the jitney out of town. I'll be at the old internet relais station.)

Koyla, are you replying to my post? If not don't worry, but I think something got lost in translation (in other words I have no idea what you're saying, sorry).

In the post /re spam PMs, it was said that they might disable PMs for newbies until they had a certain number of posts.

Haha okay. I'll make it less cryptic: (

Mozilla (actually ChatZilla) doesn't seem to recognise irc.starchat.net. For the next two hours I'm stuck on Solaris at work. How about I give you my hawtmail? It's mouldybread. Meantime I'll look into ChatZilla and see if I can't connect by using my voodoo powers (suspect not).

I'm pretty sure CZ can connect to the adress as I use CZ myself.
