I'm trying to recover from a total HD crash -- all data lost, had to buy a new drive: Seagate Barracuda XT 3 TByte. The partition in which I'm installing TG (the C: drive) has 727 GB of free space.
Running Windows XP Pro, SP3, updated via Windows update as of today.
I was able to install Thief II; but when I tried to install TG, I got a message saying the installer had detected that I was running Windows NT! What the heck?
It won't let me install; is there a workaround for this? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Dafydd

Just put the installer in Win95 or 98 compatibility, it worked for me

Because Windows XP is actually Windows NT 5.1.
And as others have said, you can put the installer into Windows 98 compatibility mode or just click Start, Run, and X:\Setup -lgntforce
(Be sure to change X to the actual letter of your CD/DVD drive, )
