I think this is, well, being taken too seriously. When I create a character to roleplay, I don't do it to satisfy some deep urge or to create an imaginary friend (I do those with the character afterwards, hehe. I do it because it's an idea for an interesting race/gender/class/personality combination that's occured to me. I only really use two characters consistently, and they're both male, but only by coincidence. Next, I might go with, say... a human... female... wizard/ranger... short hair... spear... neutral good. Collects magazines, grows flowers, enjoys fine food and tough sports. Hmm. Have to remember that one.

Well, I'm not scared...YET. This is indeed my first time posting anything on a message board. I tend to avoid them because I don't want to know "where to get this and where to get that" plus I don't want to hear people begging for "where do I get this and where do I get that" The whole point is to have fun and adventure right? Not who's got the biggest...uhh...highest level character right?
I wasn't posing this question as any kind of threat, I feel like some people are defending themselves quite a bit (which probably just means they are kidding themselves or lying to us:sly: ) I just wanted to hear all the responses. Some were expected, some were not (ie p7eter...interesting) They are fun to read!:thumb:

How would you know,have you ever been a man:p for all of the obvious reasons I have always been glad I was a man but then I have never been a woman sooo:confused:
However girls who play CRPG's tend to get a lot of (wanted/unwante)attention - especially when it is discovered that the person behind the keyboard indeed are a woman! Most girls I know simply *LOVE* the attention and thus wouldn't trade in their female char. with a male... "Exodus_dk"

Well I grew up in an all female house hold excluding myself of course:wot: and I dont play female.Oh well back to the drawing board

thats completely believable most if not all the music I listen to that is not instrumental is by a female artist.( a female voice when singing:cheeky: is comforting

I thought you might avoid them (message boards) cause you didn't want to hear “are you really a girl” “what do you look like” “do you have pictures” “how old are you” and all the other stuff girls get sent to them. I used to chat a bit on ICQ with a guy that had a female sounding id, he was always getting junk sent to him, most of it started like this “guy/girl?”

ICQ “I seek you” is the grandfather of instant messaging (did aol or compuserve have it first?) Its still popular there is even a place for your ICQ Number in the member profiles for this BBS. Most people I know have moved on to Yahoo messenger or MS messenger.
