So, in a wild case of synchronicity, about an hour after I made that last post, I went to rent a car for my ski trip this week, and standing in front of me on the line was the actor who played Lt. Rawls.
Just about blew my mind.

Did you happen to have a couple of ski poles on you so you could go "These are for you Major..."?

Just for clarification, you are all saying dont skip from season 2 to 5, but nobody is saying to not watch 5 altogether, right? I just finished season 4.

Actually, because it is not.

Took me like 5 minutes to realize that tBM was referring to the thread title.
A little clarification goes a long way!

tBM - that's what I thought until I hit the middle of the first season, then I realized it had ruined me from television pretty much forever. Have you given it a go?

Of course he hasn't. How could it compete with a masterpiece like "Soap!" anyway?
Muzman on 7/1/2010 at 06:56
My money was on 'The Fugitive'.
(or he could mean that it's not on any form of TV he has/is aware of)

Watched about 3 months worth of "The Wire". Gritty good action, but not the "Best"...
And as sarcastic as RBJ tends to be "Soap" was funny as hell.
There are other shows than "The Wire" that are more entertaining. But like Scotch or RYE, or Corn Whiskey, to each his own.
