I am sure this is in wrong place but I will continue . First glad you are back but who's back I have been around for a couple of years but I do not know anything about TLG is there a history page anywhere ? when did TLG start? .who pays? who David ? where based? sorry if I am too inquisitive

Let's put this in Website... along with a muttering that the "About TTLG" page is woefully inaccurate as far as staffers and their roles go. For one thing, some of the people still listed as staff haven't been around for years.
Yeah, that page could do with rewriting.
In other news, the server is located in Virginia and is owned by Saam. Between donations, the trickle of Google Ad revenue, and the depth of Saam's generous pockets, TTLG has managed to stay above the waves of money woes for quite a while now -- though older members will recall that it was touch-and-go there a few years back (before we switched hosting)

Saam and Digital Nightfall are the owners of TTLG who started it way back in the last millenium!
Both of them are far too busy to run TTLG, Saam seems to spend 24 hours a day working on his family's business and Dan is busy becoming an architect, or something like that anyway.
Therefore that leaves GBM, MsLedd and I in charge of TTLG with the help of our moderators and web staff!
As GBM has said, Saam and the server are in Virginia. Dan is in Florida, GBM is in Toronto at the moment, although he wanders around various parts of the USA with glee. MsLedd is in San Jose, down in California and I am the only one on the other side of the pond, which is Milton Keynes, in the UK.
