Maybe you should read the subsequent posts again then when you get back to here and you still don't get it, read it again.
Or possibly refine your question
JDR13 on 21/12/2006 at 02:45
What don't you understand about the question? It's quite simple. I don't think I could refine it much further.

I already knew the answer was obviously "Warren Spector". I just needed someone else to say it.

Jashins answer is still the best possible answer you could get. I'm probably considered moderate-to-lenient when it comes to posting answers to questions that can easily be found via the search button. I advise you to accept it and move on.

LOL. Are you threatening me?? Because that's what it sounds like. Please, by all means, show me what you're going to do if I don't "move on".
No reason whatsoever for your aggressive attitude towards me. What have I ever done to you? If you're just a troll looking for a fight then go elsewhere.
The purpose of my original post was to get the name of one person who was most responsible for Deus Ex. HamburgerBoy gave the correct response.
Jashins response was flawed because if you've ever read an interview of Spector, then you would know that he is quite modest and tries not to take all the credit.

Of course he's not trying to start anything, he's merely trying to point out that continuing to debate the subject when no-one who actually worked on the project is available to provide a definitive answer will only end in us all going round in circles. DaBeast meant it as a kindly bit of advice, hardly a threat.

I apologize if I overreacted, it just seemed that his overall tone was unnecessarily harsh.

Why?

To win an argument.
