I know many people were on the developer team for Deus Ex, but who was the main guy? I mean if you had to label one person as the 'creator' for that game, who would it be?
I know it's a stupid question that everyone here knows the answer to, but I'm trying to settle a debate with someone.

As the project lead, Spector has the final say on things. He often takes the credit for Deus Ex, but you know it's a goddamned combined effort between designers, writers, artists, programmers.
There is no one dude who does a little bit of everything, not any more. These days when someone attributes a project to one person it's done for marketing purposes.
