I think it's actually a rather fitting TTLG/CommChat subculture. At its best, it's hilarious, observational, and just suitably nonsensical. At its worst, it's not any worse than the usual brainfarts seen in commchat.
Like so often before, TTLG & commchat took a standard and rather boring feature, and molded it into something more befitting for commchat.
