The Test Match at the Oval between England and Pakistan finished in controversy yesterday - Pakistan forfeited the game by refusing to resume play. Earlier they had been penalised for tampering with the ball to make it reverse swing. (

They better not pull this during the ashes...

Pakistan don't play in the ashes :p

It would be preposterous to think that a 56 OVER BALL thrown from the international MASTERS of reverse swing ON A MOTHERFUCKING OVERCAST SPELL would begin to reverse swing, wouldn't it? COULDN'T IMAGINE IT
It will be a shame if they manage to present enough evidence to incriminate Pakistan. I feel the umpires stood by their desicions in order to make an example of teams that refuse to play.

But after reading that...
I still do.

Sounds like they finally attained Cricket Enlightenment...
The only way to win is not to play.

Sooo... we're to understand that the works of Douglas Adams were, in your opinion, unsuccessful? Likewise for the science fiction of Mark Twain and Kurt Vonnegut Jr? And can we furthermore surmise that you were nonplussed by Red Dwarf, Quark, Futurama, Spaceballs, Airplane II, Real Genius, Men in Black, Weird Science, Dr. Strangelove, Brazil, Time Bandits, Demolition Man, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Sleeper, Back to the Future, Galaxy Quest, and The Fifth Element? And it probably goes without saying that you've never played the adventure games Planetfall or Maniac Mansion, let alone their respective sequels.
Science fiction by its very nature makes such an ideal vehicle for everything from social satire to outright slapstick that your assertion that they don't mix well is, it seems, the very quintessence of absurd.
Move along folks, no comedy to be seen here...

what?

OnionBob is satirising the fact that ZylonBane will leap on anyone who levels the slightest criticism at the things he likes, while pouring disdain on any pastime he considers beneath him. He's doing this by hilariously copy-pasting one of ZB's highly defensive posts from ThiefGen, which is where 'Bane should really stay because he's hopelessly out of his depth here.
In other words: ZB is a tremendous hypocrite (as if it needed saying).

Apparently OnionBob (who is, we must be reminded, an idiot), has moved on from reposting other people's images to reposting other people's text.
EDIT: StroD, I knew you were a bit on the slow and simple side, but come on now. Hypocrisy is saying one thing but doing another. Nowhere have I said people shouldn't poke fun at cricket, or organized sports, or... anything, really.
