I'm talking about the guy who goes like "Von Braun to shuttle (something) you're clear to bay in dock 5. Welcome aboard, soldier..." in the into after you complete training. I think he's gotta have the coolest military radio chat voice I've ever heard!
Note that the line is a bit off but I just made it as best I remebered. So does anyone know? Is he in some other games / movies too?

Could be Stephen Russel. He's credited with 'Announcer' in the voice actor credits.

Most likely. He also voice acted Xerxes and cpt. Diego. And that hooded kleptomaniac fella in the other game series. That guy can put his voice to 1000+1 various levels, I bet.

If your talking about the guy who says about being "cleared for shuttle bay 2", he did the voice for one of the wingmen in the Wingcommander Prophesy Free expansion pack I`m pretty damn sure. If not then he has an extremelly similar voice.

Yeah I knew it! It's turned into my hobby to spot voice actors from different games circulated all over the place. This guy just had too cool a voice so I had to ask. Perhaps I will meet him again someday in another game.
Dude I so wish I had that guys voice, just imagine how many chicks you'd get with a voice like Garret's. And talk about LARP too... dang.
Edit: looks like he's done some voicing for NWN too!

Really? Dont remember anyone in NWN that had a "Garrett" like voice. THAT I would remember.

Which one ? He can put his voice to so many levels we can't tell which one is truly his, I doubt he speaks normally like Garrett does.

Be very damn cool if he did though. Funny how he voiced Garret and Cpt Diego pretty much the same. That said though, the voice suited the character (Cpt Diego) perfectly. Gave him a real conviction to his beliefs in his voice.

Just imagine you're in this little diner and you hear someone with Garret's voice saying... "Can I get a cappuccino please?"... and you're like :wot: :eek:
Then you turn around and think he went hiding in the shadows or somn...
