I like Chinese food; the waiters never are rude.

Finland, Finland, Finland.
The country where I want to be,
Eating breakfast or dinner,
Or snack lunch in the hall.
Finland, Finland, Finland,
Finland has it all.

Oh so sadly neglected
And often ignored
A poor second to Belgium
When going abroad.

I am no newbie. I used to frequent these forums years ago, but I got new job oppurtunities and moved. I posted on the DX and Thief forums.
It suprises me how much things have changed. My little 'ol friend GingerBreadMan would hae banned me for the comment he made on the first page. Still I wonder, if I had made that same comment, would I be banned...
I am too assume then that no one here is Greek?
:joke: Nice to see you again GBM.

You lot, I mean honestly. Here an innocent forum member asks if anyone is greek, which immediately leads to Greece and homosexuality. Now did it ever cross your minds that perhaps he meant Greek as in belonging to a fraternity, which is in no way gay at all.

I was even thinking the other day on the bus, how exactly are we superior to the romans? Besides the advance of some ideas like human rights(and that too is debatable a bit) every other advances are just shallow. Did the romans need 100 story skyscrapers? no, neither did they need computers. Why does a person have to live as long as possible, is our purpose on earth not realizable within nature's natural limits? etc
The romans also had gladiators, they fed people to lions, and crucified uppity slaves to serve as examples.

I also find the number of topics about gay laughing disturbing a bit.. statistics tell us there are some of us here that are homosexual, stop for a second and think the kind of environment you're creating. I used to laugh at gay jokes all the time too, until it became less socially acceptable and I realized it was really mean.
If the population of ttlg was a random sample, you'd be right about statistics saying that, but we aren't. We're highly self-selected based on certain factors (liking games by Looking Glass). The male/female ratio, for example is far from random. Note: I'm not saying there aren't any gay people here as some people have stated their preferences in the forum, but just that we cannot necessarily know it from statistics.

I'm here because I'm gay. Am I in the wrong forum?
