You know someone could embark on the discussion that there's nothing wrong with homosexuality and today's morals imposed on us by our society somehow make us find that amusing or wrong but most people here probably didn't see enough historically accurate movies to understand what cultural differences through time can really mean. ;)
I was even thinking the other day on the bus, how exactly are we superior to the romans? Besides the advance of some ideas like human rights(and that too is debatable a bit) every other advances are just shallow. Did the romans need 100 story skyscrapers? no, neither did they need computers. Why does a person have to live as long as possible, is our purpose on earth not realizable within nature's natural limits? etc
I also find the number of topics about gay laughing disturbing a bit.. statistics tell us there are some of us here that are homosexual, stop for a second and think the kind of environment you're creating. I used to laugh at gay jokes all the time too, until it became less socially acceptable and I realized it was really mean.
