I notced that one of the stash locations reappeared on the map AFTER I already picked it up.
If you loot a lot of bodies that will become a regular occurence. Think of it as that those npc's found and used that stash after you picked it clean; and so now there's new goodies in it.

I finally made a successful jump and got the stash. Thanks to faetal for showing me the way.
I guess that could be described as a "tiny house" (description from the map), though I think it's misleading.
Not a problem.
It took me a good 25 minutes of frustrating FPS bunny-hopping to figure it out - glad to be able to help :)

Also, I've noticed that if you don't take an entire stash that the marker doesn't disappear:
e.g. you find a stash with 6 med kits, decide to only take 2 as you are near full load and have plenty of med kits - the stash marker stays.

Sometimes the marker stays even when you take everything. It happens to me, at least.

I just realized I have been playing on "Master" level, when my intent is to play it on "Novice". That explains some difficulties i've been having.
Another potential stupid question....I know these guys are Russian, so they should be speaking in Russian. But I feel I'm missing something with all the dialogue I'm experiencing. Have I missed an option that dictates the language used ?

That number on the minimap shows the number of other humans that are in your vicinity.
Doesn't is show your distance to the objective marked on the map?

No, and it isn't precisely how many humans either.
It's how many "active PDA's" it detects around itself (similar to WiFi I suppose). Since most humans carry them, it is a good rough number of how many humans are in the area; but there are humans that don't carry them and they won't tally in the count; and also some "monsters' carry them (either the Snorks or the zombies but I don't remember which).

If you don't want to keep playing Master, you can change the difficulty on-the-fly and not have to start the game over (sorry if you already know that).

Ya can "erase" these empty stashes by putting something in and then taking it out again repeatedly (same amount as items originally in it i think, if there where 2 items ya gotta put 2 things in and out).

Cool, can't wait to try that!
Thanks,

Thanks for the tip regarding the stashes :thumb:
As for the number in the minimap, I said 'humans' becaase they're the ones who carry the PDAs. The zombies are still humans, only with brain damage, but they still have their PDAs with them, so they are also accounted for in that number.
