Hi!
I'm pretty new to this game (although I've own a copy for several years) and I wonder which of all the graphics update mods I should choose?
Do they conflict with eachother if you choose several at the same time, or is there one mode that covers ít all (like a total conversion mod)?
Edit: Talking about System Shock 2

One more if you may:
I've read a little about this mod: "Arcaniac's Shock2 True Redux graphic pack" and I wonder why it isn't recommended like the Rebirth and SHTUP?
Is there a problem to finish the game or just a lot of bugs in it?
(have searched, but fells pretty unsure when I read the comments)
+ are there any mods that remove the lifebars from enemies, and also removes the "markes" that shows up around enemies, boxes...etc when you interact with them?

Why? wish I knew as I REALLY like how the toons look. Trouble is with crew members(both dead and alive) you get this strange problem right around the wrist that makesi tl ook like thy've got a spike munted on their arm. Other than that there's also the fact the ninjas seem to have transparency problems that make bits of the skin invisable. However I'm not sure what's causing that problem or if its a conflict with another mod.
Also Elron's psi-amp is something worth picking up, especially if you do work as a spook. Straylight's gamsys is also a good pickup. Trouble is there's also another gamesys thats floating about that adds in affects like knockback and other odds n ends(but i THINK isn't intigrated with straylight's bugfixes).
Anyone have the savvy to mesh the two gamesys's together? I liked being able to make cessium bombs and throwable grenades!

No but it wouldn't be too hard to make some. Those targetting markers are an object property you can remove with dromed and the lifebars are images you can replace with fully transparent ones to make them invisible in-game.
That other gamesys that's floating about does have some Straylight bugfixes like weapon oddities but I wouldn't recommend it to a new guy.

Why do you want to remove the lifebars? They are useful to see when to run away. :p

1. Yes there are a few bugs in Arcaniac's mod. It also got some notoriety for being a mashup of uh ... several other sources.
2. Yes (
http://www.strangebedfellows.de/index.php?topic=56.0) there is a mod that removes the enemies healthbars. ZB made quite some time ago. The brackets around the enemies remain though.
