If you could meet one character from DX, who would it be? (and by "meet" I mean have a nice 30 minute chat with). If you can't decide, choose your top 3 (you can also say who you'd least want to meet...;)). I'd probably pick Jock, Jaime and Paul (Jock's a trustworthy guy, Jaime's friendly, and Paul's understanding... and that's more than can be said for anyone else in the game). Walton Simons would be the guy I'd least want to run into . That man is pure evil. The harshness of the words that escape his emotionless voice is really inhuman. But that's just my opinion. :)

Helios. In addition I had a whole list of scientific researchers, even going down to Dr Vargas (the psionics researcher at Versalife) because I am so interested in the science of the future. Then I realised that Helios knows everything anyway, so I don't need Tracer Tong (the most diverse scientist in DX) to tell me about scientific developments.
My first choice has always been Helios because I would just love to have the voice of pure logic talking to me. There are so many questions, which one can only pose to an artificial sentient life form but cannot to a human. It contains an approximation of the entire topology of natural algorithms within its systems, while humans are only individual instances of those algorithms. So in summary Helios, because his knowledge base is the sum of human knowledge and more, and his intellect is unsurpassed. I would also like to meet Bob Page because he is an evil genius, and I would love to know how his mind works.
As for the person I would dislike to meet the most, well there are so many people. For one thing, all the thugs and drug dealers. But if it has to be someone specific, then I would say Harley Filben. I really dislike him and I consider him to be really biased, which means that any information he gives me would be quite unless because I don't trust the validity of what he says. It is not a matter of him lying, but more of a matter of his naive and primitive view on life. I also dislike his rival, Joe Greene a lot. He will end up interviewing me and not the other way round.

First Carter.
Then Paul, I think, and then Jock.
Or some of the "named but unknown" people, mainly from the NSF. You know the datacubes you get on the mission to Lebedev, when the girl talks about the other guy she likes? I'd like to meet those people...

Hmmm. Bob Page because I've never meet a melodramatic evil genius. Alex 'cause Alex is a nice guy. Paul Denton. Jock so I could call him Brian. Brian, teehee! Hmm. Miguel. One of the Cassandras. So many characters, so little time...

Dragonclaw, the most important reasons are WHY not WHO. For me it is because I want to learn about science as well as "the truth".
From your choices, I would guess that you want to discuss issues with "the rebellion". Am I right?
Dragonclaw on 9/5/2002 at 20:45
Hm... "who" doesn't exactly call for reasons ;)
But I get your idea. Well, partially yes, to find out what they think about the whole thing, their view on the world, and such. And the NSF guys... Well, they sound nice. I'd like to get to know the people behind the names, especially if they put down their NSF armours...

The homeless sculptor from the Clinic (I don't know his name). He sounds fascinating, and he says one of my favourite lines from the game: "There's always tomorrow."

The kinky chick at the window of the Lucky Money club in Hong Kong - the one with the throaty voice and twisted predilictions who want you to bark like a dog.
Of all the characters in Dues Ex. she's the only one I regret setting on fire with the flame thrower and then robbing her corpse. Hey, $1000 buys a lot of soy snacks!

Rafael's sculptures are named after novels by G. K. Chesterton.

That's the name, alright. Very fitting.
