There was a blacksmith in the plaza of the Foreign Quarter in Vivec. In fact, their were two. One asked me to steal a contract from the other, and I couldn't say no to a fellow Redguard could I? But the other one objected to me breaking into his bedroom, so I had to kill him. It was a perfect little place - 3 walls with shelves to store Daedric weapons and other items I could not sell, a bed downstairs, some crates, chests and other storage areas...perfect...

I used the dormitory in the basement of the Balmora Mages' Guild until I filled up the closet. After that, I moved into Hlallo Manor, up on the hill. It's nice! There's a storage room with plenty of crates, barrels and sacks (that's where I keep my alchemy and enchantment supplies), shelves near the door to hold my working tools like weapons, armor, scrolls and potions, a private bedroom on the third floor ... and I didn't have to murder anyone to get it!

Of course, the late Ralen is still lying at the bottom of the stairs, and I'll have to move myself to edit him out at some point just so I won't have such an unsightly object in my living room. And his old servant is still there, but she stays in her room and doesn't bother me.

I OWN the Vivec Mages guild. It's all lined with torches, candles, and pillows. It needed a woman's touch. :D Plus I've also re-decorated my Hlaalu stronghold. Now if only someone would create a beauty salon plug-in so I could change my hairstyles!:laff:

Well, I like the Hlaalu Mansion that Ralen used to own...its been my hang-out & MARK point throughout most of the game...plus all the shelves and all...thought I did notice something odd that happened...


I had filled up one of the crates with alchemical supplies, to the point that it wouldn't take anymore...well, the next day, when I loaded the game...all the supplies had mysteriously disappeared! all of them! which sucked, until I realized that all I really ever needed were Daedra Hearts and Comberries to make Restore Magicka potions.....and I have since played with the fiction that the Thieve's guild ransacked my digs....hey! anyone want to come up with that kinda mod? ya know, one where there is a thieve's guild that actually Steals things every now and then? just an idea....;)
