Actually, the 101% / 110% rule is meant for people new to Mercantile. Those who have a higher Mercantile skill can go up to 150% or the original suggested item price and beyond. If you have a spell / enchanted item that fortifies Mercantile, you can probably haggle up to 1000% of the original suggested price.
... So... if I fortified my Mercantile skill to 10,000 (impossible, but I'm using it for this example) I could sell a rusty dagger for 10,000 gold to the Mudcrab Merchant?
:o

Well the Daedric Scourge is in that book, but that damn curator wouldn't buy it off me! Instead she wanted my Cuirass of Saviour's Hide, which is out of the question.
It's true. For some strange reason the Museum doesn't except all artifacts but does, in fact, accept some items that aren't even official artifacts (just decently powerful items with no history behind them at all.) Strange, I know.

Well i don't have a problem with traveling there and return back within the game. i just use recall, almsivi and divine int etc, and not even just one step to walk. no waste of time, that way, it's even easier than visiting creeper in Caldera, but the real problem is, when i do that, i mean using almsivi and divine, it fills my RAM up by loading three cities and i have to save and load it again, so having him nearby, would just save my time that i waste by loading the game... so it doesn't give me any advantages within the game...does it?
do you know that in Dungeon Siege, there is a spell that converts items into money???!!! :eww:
 and RyushiBlade, i warn uuuu!!! if u sell mudcrab a rusty knife for 10.000, using your unnatural forces, you will SUFFERRRRR GRRRREATLYYYYYYY:ebil: because he is my best friend!!!! (after Ajiira)
just go and fetch some glass from ghostgate and sell them if you want...:sly:
seen any .... elvez? nhah hahahaaahhahahaaaa:laff:

This seems a good place to post this again:
(
http://morrowind.ttlg.com/spoiler/faq/museum.shtml) List of artefacts which the Museum in Mournhold will buy
(NB: you must have the artefact on you for it to appear in the dialogue box. Also, remember that you'll have to donate a couple of them at some point)

I will begin by saying... shut up Sappe. (That was you before, wasn't it?)
It's Artifact. :cheeky:
And I've got plenty of loot to sell to the mudcrab. (Seriously... I've estimated about 3 million gold's worth of weapons/items. Give or take. I have four sets of ebony armor, heh. And artifacts too...) I wasn't going to cheat, I was just asking if that was what you were getting at. Rusty dagger for 10k... whew.
Kafein on 25/5/2003 at 04:12
FOR THE ARTIFACT LIST OF ANIA
also there is Masque of Clavicus Vile. constant effect fortify personality 30 pts on self, armor rating 56, condition 800, weight 15/heavy...
It was listed in the book at the Corpusarium. but may be it is not "artifact enough" for the Museum. Because its cost is 15000 and the museum will not get too much profit:grr: Anyway it is a very surprising item... i found it nearly at the beginning, and all the people treating me like a dog, became my best friends... it changes everything. (everything- that the game would be completely different without it)
And about your list... which ones are constant effect and which ones are useful for a mage?:cheeky: because i don't know their effects... anyway why don't i just go and check Yagrum's book? and compile a shopping list:erg:
RyushiBlade on 25/5/2003 at 04:31
Kafein: Go look at my 'What spell effects do *you* have?' thread in the General Discussion section. If you like what effects I have I can tell you where I get them all from.
Kafein on 25/5/2003 at 05:19
ah...no...i mean't Ania's list in both... sorry... but i will have a look at it... it sounds interesting:)

The Museum will not buy the Masque of Clavicus vile (I tried- after all, it was on the list in the book in the Museum). The list was compiled using the editor- if you look at the item list in the ed, the Museum items appear twice, with two item IDs (one each, that is). This is how you identify the Museum-compatible stuff. I am not sure if Yagrum's list is any more correct than the book in the museum (Famed Artifacts of Tamriel, I believe)
Anyway, to the best of my knowledge, my list is the definitive Museum Items list. I didn't include properties of the artifacts, because this info is freely available on the net already, what was not available was a list of Museum items.
Artefact is a variant spelling of artifact. Both can be found in Webster's dictionary. I thought I'd try this spelling for size- but I think I got used to artifact, so I'll probably revert to that.
If the rusty dagger is so valuable, it may be the one which gets turned into
Mehrunes Razor
in a Daedric shrine quest. If it is called 'rusty dagger', this is it. Do not sell it before its transformation!
(
http://12.145.63.45/~uesp/morrow/hints/mwartifacts.shtml) Here is a list of items and their effects- you can cross-reference it with my list.

I didn't know you could spell Artifact with an e. Fancy that.
We were just talking about a normal rusty dagger and how, if you get your mercantile up to 10,000, you could sell it for 10k gold. I still want to try that out, heh.
