I'm a cheap sod - what's the cheapest price I can get this for (UK-wise)?
(
http://www.play.com) Play is the cheapest I found, £24.99 for the regular version and £29.99 for the super-duper-ultra-deluxe-mega version.
Anyone found a better deal?

I just ordered from play.com - at best you'll save a couple of quid by hunting around, and then postage may not be included.

play.com price is exactly the same as Amazon, except you pay for delivery unless you don't mind it a bit late.
I went for Amazon, because I can spare a quid or so, and because I prefer the Amazon packaging. I have received packages from play.com where the DVD or CD hasn't been secure inside the box, but sliding and grating around all over the holdings.
So yeah, play is good and cheap, but since I'm getting the collectors edition, I want a nice neat Amazon foldy-uppy carboard box job.

When was the last time you ordered from play.com? I recently bought some DVDs from play and they were packaged very nicely.

I got Beyond Good and Evil from them I think.

I've always found Play.com to be fine - ordered way too much stuff from them, always competitively priced and no delivery problems. In fact, they once sent me Call Of Duty 2 (£25) instead of Oldboy (£7) by accident. Bonus. :) Got it eventually anyway, great film.
By the by - just seen Morrowind on Play.com for £5. Bargain, eh?

If you've ordered from Play.com, check your mail. Mine got posted last night, apparently.

Not sure about geographic limitations, but Gogamer is where I always shop. They don't always have the best price, but they do have really good 48 hour madness deals (that last for weeks sometimes). If its the same price I prefer to buy from them than most local retailers. they ship well and tend to have good PC game prices. I think the collectors is 57.99 US instead of the 59.99 everyone else is seeling it for.
They had the UT2004 DVD (with extra how-to DVD) for 12.99 (I think) when everyone else had it for 29.99. and right now DX2 is $5.90 US.
If I can't fight the voices any longer that are telling me to wait until next month to buy the game, I will get it from them. My wallet says no, but my... everything else says its time to play Oblivion!
