It rained in London today.
In other news, apparently it also rained in another part of the UK.
Welcome to July, fuckers...:thumb: :thumb:

Summer starts tomorrow according to my BBC 5 day forecast. But just a few days ago it confidently claimed that there would be no summer for the whole of July. No sir, only rain.

I used to think I lived in Dallas. Now it's more like Seattle.
On an average year, we should get about 30 inches of rain. That is on an average year.
We already have 30 inches of rain, with no end in sight. July is suppose to be cooler and wetter, yay. Just barely past half a year, we aren't done. I am so god damn sick of this rain. I have never seen so much rain in my entire life, in such a short period of time. Thank god I don't live near a lake, river or creek. So much flooding every where. Fourth of July is tomorrow, probably going to be a washout.
Flip side, everything is nice and green, I haven't had to water anything outside in weeks, and weeks.
Oh, it just rained.

It has been fantastically beautiful here in the northeast since I got home in May. Its like Florida, minus the daily showers, insane humidity and blistering heat:D

Dang BA I cannot believe what's going on down there. My sister-in-law is just north of you and fortunantly she has not had any trouble with the flooding.
It's been rather nice in Indiana...cool to the point that I need to wear a sweatshirt in the mornings. But it also has been drier than normal so I spend time each day watering. Due to change soon and be hot. And dry. We could use some of that TX rain but not all of it.

Where the hell is my summer
In Iceland. :D It went very close to 30°C today in the sunlight, along with no visible clouds in the sky.

I had 2 rainy-as-hell, bitter-cold-as-fuck weeks in Scotland while I was back and 5 days of uncomfortably close heat in Paris, but it didn't stop me from having fun!
Well, actually, it kind of did. It's okay though, I'm "home" now.

The summer is here, in California. Wanna trade? I was going to buy an air conditioner for my bedroom, but it turns out that my current apartment ventillates itself pretty well on its own and I would rather have to buy an air conditioner for my office! I wonder what is it about particle physicists that makes them hate air conditioning so much... Argh.
