I'm asking this because it seems ESO discussing has not yet caught on here. ... or anywhere.
The ESO discussions so far at Bethesda are not that great.
Or am I just asking this question too early? After all, the game just came out. And no one can get their hands on any ESO game cards yet.
Which brings up the next question ... where is the best place to get ESO game cards? Is there a place where I can buy the card online where they will open the card and give me the code by email and then mail the physical card to me?

There is something hilariously tragic about the only active thread in the Elder Scrolls forum being someone asking for directions to a decent Elder Scrolls forum. :cheeky:
Sorry, I have no idea where you might find someone willing to talk about ESO. I liked Skyrim a lot, but I have just about zero interest in a multiplayer version of a ES game. By the complete lack of ESO posts in this forum I'm guessing a lot of people here feel the same.

I'd have interest in it if it were any good. I couldn't even be arsed to play more than 5 or 6 hours of it despite having access to all of the beta weekends.

I have to admit, when I played it during the beta weekends I was not too into it. I can't really put my finger on why exactly. I guess it just felt 'boring.' I've read about how the game isn't good in the beginning but picks up later on. I guess I just haven't played long enough to get to the 'good parts' so to speak.
I guess the other issue with ESO is the fact that it's an MMO rather than a co-op experience. That is, I think a lot of people would have rather had a Skyrim style experience but with a couple of friends within that world. I recall people modding multiplayer for Oblivion and Morrowind, but I don't think they ever got very far in either case and they were not feature complete.

I'd say you're right about that. I was actually surprised someone hadn't already made a thread about ESO, so I made one but I only got one person to post in it.

It's a MMO. TTLG is probably the last community you'd expect to find a high population of players of that genre and you'd be right.
