Yeah... totally...
For light armor, try the closet in Divayth Fyr's place (Tel Fyr). It's in the Hall of Fyr, I think. It's called the Saviors Hide (constant effect absorb or resist, can't remember, magicka 60%.)
For medium, join the Tribunal Temple (I think...?) and finish all their quests. You will recieve the Ebony Mail (a lot of different constant effect spells including Shield 50pts.) In my opinion it's one of the best.
For heavy, try Lord's Mail (cures poison and does something else when you use it, isn't a CE item) which is in an underwater cave place in some rocks around Ebonheart. Or try the small islands southwest of Ebonheart. Look for a place called Mudan Grotto; you can find the Dragonbone Cuirass here (ultimately better as it is Constant Effect Resist Fire 100%.)
You can get the Fists of Randagulf which is in the heavy armor class, and some different boots, but I don't know where those are.
