I have a certain problem... The assassins show up, I kill them, I see the journal entry, I talk to the Seyda Need guards... And all they say in reply to the term "Dark Brotherhood" is "You should probably find some help or writ a will, pobably both". Not referring me to anyone... Should I just improve me disposition/liking in their eyes or is tht a bug?

I'm pretty sure that is the responce for gaurds who don't like you so bribe them some.

Nah, my next character (described in the "Character Race" thread) is going to have Personality of 75 and Speechcraft as a Major skill; I don't think bribary would be nesceray if that is the issue.
I'm so relieved to know that this isn't a bug.

Oh wait, I checked the dialogue for you and they don't say anything about extra in the dark brotherhood topic; all the journals and information you need is in the greeting "You say you've been attacked by assassins? From your description, it sounds like the work of the Dark Brotherhood. I'm not sure who you angered, but stay away from me. I suppose this should be officially reported, though. Speak to Apelles Matius in Ebonheart about this matter."

Ok, so if you have the Goty edition how do you get to Mournhold?? Ive read the part about the brothers attacking you while you sleep at 5+ but what does that mean. Sorry if its really obvious but Im sort of still a newb.:joke:
