Help!!
I have gotten thru all the Thieves Guild quests, found Gentleman Jim, found Nads , and now when I go back to Gentleman Jim, he's not there. Crazy legs talks like he is, but I can't see him.
Is this a glitch, or what? What can be done? I uninstalled and reinstalled MW and the patch already, no change.
thanks,
Sahadeva

8) The only time that I've seen Jim go away, is after you kill Sjoring Hard-heart. Since that's essentially the last quest of the Thieves Guild, he goes on a vacation or something and leaves the guild up to you, as Master Thief.

I assume that you've not done the final Thieves Guild missions yet, since you say he's gone after reporting back from finding Nads, so I'm going to say this is a glitch.
I've often had NPCs disappear on me, usually the silt strider guys... they often fall through the floor and things due to glitches. You can get them back though by opening up the console (using the "~" key) and typing "RA" (without the quotes). This should set all the NPCs back to the positions they should be in.
If that doesn't work, I know there's another command to specifically enter Jim's own object ID, but I don't recall what it is (paging Forsythe ;)).
And as always, if you're on an X-Box, you might have have to try to restore an earlier save and hope it doesn't go wrong again.

(Oh, and just to be concise, RA only affects NPCs in the specific cell [ie: area] you're in)

Of course it's for the specific cell I'm in, after all, if I wasn't in that cell, I wouldn't know the NPC was missing yet, would I? ;)
Erm, yeah, I didn't know that. Good to know. ;)
