Actually, I just got back from the salon, and my hair looks god damn FABULOUS.

I did read it.
Apparently RBJ is having a bad hair day and is attacking people to make himself feel better.
It's not just to make himself feel better. You'll find it's healthy for yourself as well. It's a community service.

Uh, mind qualifying that?
I'm saying that it belongs in a broadly classified family of parody/homage type movies.
Just using Shaun of the Dead and Airplane as examples - yes both are parodies but they both use completely different forms of humour.
Airplane et al rely heavily on puns and absurdity.
SOTD is just a parody with a bunch of geek in-jokes thrown in.

Ironic how in a comedy thread you're producing surprisingly little of it.

My God you are a tard.

Superbad is pretty funny, indeed. If you're into character comedy like Napoleon Dynamite, you'll definitely like Superbad. It's cheesy and it follows the traditional feel-good formula, but that won't stop you from laughing during some of the scenes.

The best and most varied comedy these days is on TV.
You wouldn't be saying that if you lived in the UK.

Really? I love all the modern British comedy that gets shown over here. (I am English born). There's the obvious stuff like The Office and Extras, but also Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, The Mighty Boosh, Three Non-Blondes, Broken News, etc etc.

Stranger Than Fiction was one of the best movies I've seen in years.
