Adventurer or not - we all need a place to call home :) I'd like to know what you think of as "home" in the world of Morrowind? Do you have a sanctum with a cosy bed where you store stuff and just plain relax from time to time?
I have a nice little house in Caledra (?). It used to belong to someone else but not anymore  I've decorated it all by myself with candles all over the place and I've stocked my basement full of food. My house in Caledra is also where I keep "my precious", a nice trinket worth 60 000 (I doubt that I'll ever find anyone who has the money to buy it though...)
Where's your home?

One more little thread isn't going to hurt anyone...
I've settled down in a nice manor in Balmora which belonged to the (late) Lord Nerano. Bottom floor is my armory and library (42 books and counting!:)), second floor is my trophy room, and third floor is just a little bedroom (with a closet bursting with over 10 extravagant shirts and pants). I've sold all the junk in the place, (it wasn't even worth 200 septims in total) and I've even managed to (neatly) put all of my books on the 1st floor shelves, which took a surprisingly long time. Having a home is really great, because wherever I am on Vvardenfell, I always know there's a king-sized bed waiting for me in Balmora.:)

See Burt what did I tell you!
Look ppl the dude was just looking to tell us how he has a place to lay his head in Vvardenfell he wasnt looking to get clobered by the search button routine.
We have fallen into a bad habit here.If you dont want to spend the effort to answer the poor dudes question then dont answer it.With the effort it took to tell the guy off you just could have told him the answer that he was looking for.
Now for you ppl that think Im after Forsythe Im not he is one of my favorite posters on this forum,it was just the timeing of the posts that made it look this way.
What Im after is the practice of throwing the search button at all the new ppl.
(and with my experience of it, it rarely works)
Its just that it makes us look unfriendly!
Oh jeese I forgot to answer Burts question. I lay my head in Ald Ruhn buddy!

Hmm.. Thrangar, no offense taken, no worries there. It's really not a matter of not wanting to take the time to answer though, it's really a matter of clogging the forum with 10 different threads that say the same thing. *shrug*
Btw, I'm not mentioning search for awhile because it is broken as far as I'm concerned. Normally, it has a much higher ratio than 20 to 1 ;)

Well, I've replyed to this question before but because I havent posted in a while and burt did go to the trouble to ask, however redundant, but I'ts ok cause I was new here once too and I understand that people can be rude to you for trival stuff, so I'm going to answer again. I've crashed lots of places but right now I have a pile of crap over at the vivec morog tong guild because I'm building my own place next door and I dont want to haul my 80+ books and collection of ash statues across the island when its done. there you go...

mmmm-good point hadnt thought of that maybe there is a happy medium here we find .
how does a sticky FAQ sound ,like the ones at the top of the page that has all the questions ever asked divided into areas such as towns, weapons, magic so on!
Of course it would have to be done by some one who played the game alot (hint) and who has a little programming knowledge(hint)

*laugh* Lemme think about it ;)
