This is driving me absolutely batty. I'm told to go southwest of Sadrith Mora to find the Sorcerer Draramu Hloren; but SW of Sadrith Mora is just water. I'm vexed!

Heh, "batty". anyway... the directions they give you for that quest are some of the worst IMO, right up there with some of that dribble that trebonus feeds you..
what you SHOULD do is go south west from the front steps of the sadrith mora apoctheary, behind the first island you come to is a smaller island, if you stand on the smaller island faceing southwest there should be a small beach to your left, thats the island you want. hope that helps
