Where do I find a pickaxe? I can't seem to figure out where i could find one. Yes, I did look around a bit at the Caldera Mining Company.

Why do you want a pickaxe? They have no practical use. I would try up near Khuul, their kwama mine might have one, or gnisis. The diamond mine definitely has one, I think it was NE of Caldera (over the east ridge of the mines possibly a bit south), you can steal some diamonds while you are at it. I loved that diamond mine, it looks very pretty and a pretty fortune can be made from it.

Maybe he's talking about something to get at the Stalhrim (spelling?) ice. I have no clue.
Also, check out his website. Click "Home" for added popup-dialogue box fun.

yeah they do. I have a mod that makes use of a pick.:D In vanilla morrowind yeah, but with this mod, i can use the pick to mine for ore.:sly:

That explains that.
For the record, though, saving your screenshots in "web-safe pallette" GIF format might not be the greatest of ideas, especially if they're such an important part of your website.

not sure what you mean. if your referring to some of the really crappy quality pictures on my site... well, i was a noob back when i started the site, and i thought it would be a good idea to use lower quality pictures on a website. But as you can tell, i tried to remedy that with some high quality pictures. For example, the one picture on my home page of the Haunts used to be a horribly bad quality picture but i retook a screenshot and used that unaltered.

Well, that picture is also over 280KB large. o____O
I would personally suggest going with either a smaller-filesize JPEG, or using GIF with an optimized pallette or something (although if you're using MSPaint I don't think it'll let you). Not sure how large a PNG file would be, but that would offer the best quality.

meh.. jpegs suck. (ive got something called paint.net now, i definitely wont be using mspaint lol)
You can use png's ? Yeah png's are pretty good quality pictures. but ive got decent quality pictures on my site so there's no need to alter it.:cheeky:
[edit] Sorry. I can't believe i said jpeg's suck. Generally they do, that is, if the quality was axed.... But that haunt picture is a jpeg and it turned out nice....
flexbuster on 7/5/2007 at 03:30
It turned out nice probably because there's very little compression on it. Seriously though, you don't want 200KB+ images on a webpage unless you want dial-up users wanting to wring your neck. :P At least not without linking to them.
sNeaksieGarrett on 7/5/2007 at 03:57
Wha!? People still use dial-up!?!?!?
Just kidding, yeah yeah of course its still used. just not so much id think.:sly:
well.. i guess i was catering to dial-up users before in a way thats why the files were crappy quality so they'd be smaller. but now i guess im catering to broadband because that's what i use... and most people nowadays have it.
This is funny, because we are going way off topic. It doesnt matter though really, since i found the pick.:)
