I'm at Balmora and I'm already bogged down by all these ingredients. Is there any easily accessible, and safe, place I can put all my extra stuffs?

I ran into being bogged down as well. What I did was this: Found a locked house in Balmora and unlocked it, then I cleared the house out (sold everything in there) and replaced it with my stuff.
I now have my own offical home to store stuff in and visit/rest in. Well, sort of. :)

:), I downloaded the pack guar mod... it's pretty nice and I think the guar cant become encumbered (it's holding at least 2k encumberance in daedric weapons alone).

You can also have a house in a variety of towns if you want. It's best if you have one with a bed in it so you can take a nap. Let's see, one by the beach, two near the traders shops, and one with a view.....that guard tower (with a roof) will do nicely for sunsets. :)

I heard somewhere that if you store stuffs in certain containers, it will respawn its contents after a while and erase all your stuffs. Is that true? Which are the containers in questions? Any safe ones out there? I'd hate to lose all my soul gems and saltrice and diamond that I've plundered/stolen/looted from the honest working citizens of Morrowind.

I joined the Mages Guild in Balmora and moved into the dormitory room in the basement. There's a cabinet in there, low lock level, that will hold lots of things, so you don't have to live like a slob. Sleeping there also makes it easy to make and practice spells, and the Guild Guide is in the next room.

I just use the room in the FG in Ald' Ruhn, since it's nice and comfy.
For my major stuff I use one the house involved in the Redoran quest in Ald' Ruhn. Guess I should move all the stuff to my stronghold one of these days.

Speaking of storage and houes, it's possible to make a house/home/stronghold with that editor thing, right?
